<aside> 💡 Based on the work you did in the previous week’s prompts, I’d like you to confidently and unabashedly state your creative needs as it relates to your mental health.
Here’s a personal example: I don’t work well creatively on little sleep. I’m grumpy, unable to focus and get distracted and frustrated easily. Therefore, one of my creative needs for my mental health is getting adequate sleep.

Here’s a personal example: I don’t work well creatively with loud background noise. Trust, me, I’ve tried! Therefore, one of my creative needs is quiet! Luckily, I have an office with a door, but that’s not always possible when I’m working out of the house or when I’m traveling. I invested in a pair of noise-cancelling headphones and now, I never have the background noise problem.

Here’s a personal example: For me, in order to get the words down on the page, I have to fire my inner critic during my drafting process. There’s no place for my inner critic in the beginning because all it does is offer shame and a slower pace. So, when it’s time to draft, my creative need is to fully ignore my inner critic until I’m ready to edit.

Based on the work you did in the previous week’s prompts, I’d like you to confidently and unabashedly state your creative needs as it relates to your priorities.
Here’s a personal example: I have a very busy life (as you probably do!), but my creativity is hugely important to me. To ensure that I keep it as a priority, one of my needs is spending 15 minutes a day on my projects. I made sure to choose an amount of time as well as a timeframe that was realistic and doable for me. Fifteen minutes may not seem like a large amount of time, but when I’m consistently and intentionally working toward my goals, it adds up!

<aside> 💡 Based on the work you did in the previous week’s prompts, I’d like you to confidently and unabashedly state your creative needs as it relates to your mindset and creative approach.
Here’s a personal example: I discovered earlier this year that rational writing methods don’t work well for me. I resonated more with the intuitive writing approach and realized that one of my creative needs is using the approach that works best for me even when others are trying to tell me to do it “this way” or “that way.” But when I follow the process that works best for me, I am more creative and happier about what I’m producing!
